We are not a website builder. We are a team that builds author websites. Every design, page and feature is made for authors, so you get genre specific designs, book and series pages, a bookstore if you want one, and fully managed hosting. You never have to touch the technical side.
I am not tech savvy. Can I really do this?
You do not have to do it. We build your site for you and hand it over ready to go. You get a simple editor for your own words and pictures, and there is always a real person to ask when you get stuck.
Can you move my existing website across?
Yes. Tell us where your site lives now and we will price the move for you. It is a one time setup fee on top of your plan, and we will quote it before you commit to anything. We bring your content over and set up redirects so you keep your search rankings.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel any time?
No contracts. Monthly plans are month to month and you can cancel any time. Annual plans cost less over the year and run for the full year. If you cancel an annual plan you will not be billed again, and your site stays live through the year you already paid for.
Why does it cost more than a DIY website builder?
Because you are not buying software, you are hiring a team. A DIY builder gives you a login and good luck. We design, build, host and look after your site for you. A freelance web designer charges $75 to $150 an hour. Your build works out at a fraction of that, and you never spend an hour learning website tech. Your time goes to writing books.
Who updates my site after it goes live?
You can make simple changes yourself, and there is always a real person to ask when you get stuck. If you would rather we handled your new books, blog posts and reviews, we offer that as an optional extra. Just ask and we will set it up.
